El proyecto EDUCAROM recibe el primer premio Oro 2009 Creatividad e Innovación en Grundtvig del Lifelong Learning Programme
Único proyecto español al que se le ha otorgado el reconocimiento del primer premio.
El 7 de mayo de 2009, el proyecto EDUCAROM, coordinado por la Asociación Gitana de Mujeres Drom Kotar Mestipen , ha sido reconocido por la Comisión Europea como el mejor proyecto Grundtvig del año en la mejora de la educación de personas adultas en un sentido amplio, incluyendo la enseñanza formal, no formal e informal .
El día 7 de mayo de 2009, en Praga, la Asociación de Mujeres Gitanas DROM KOTAR MESTIPEN recibió de la mano de Ján Figel' ( Miembro de la Comisión Europea responsable de Educación, Formación, Cultura y Juventud) y Ondrel Liska, Ministro de Educación, Juventud y Deporte de la República Checa el primer premio Oro 2009 Creatividad e Innovación en Grundtvig . Figel elogió y felicitó el trabajo realizado por Drom Kotar Mestipen, como un modelo a seguir en Europa, sobretodo en la inclusión de voces de mujeres gitanas que tradicionalmente han sido excluidas ( http://www.llp-conference.eu/index ).
Durante la conferencia llevada a cabo se presentaban proyectos de 6 categorías diferentes ( Comenius, Erasmus, Grundtvig, Leonardo da Vinci, Languages and Information and Communication Technologies) y en cada uno se han otorgado 3 premios. EDUCAROM ha sido el único proyecto español al que le han otorgado el reconocimiento del primer premio.
En el proyecto premiado EDUCAROM, también colaboraron entidades de Eslovaquia, Francia y Rumania. El proyecto nació para proporcionar ayuda y respuesta a las necesidades educativas y sociales del pueblo gitano en diferentes países de Europa y con diversas situaciones sociales. Su principal objetivo es promover una educación INCLUSIVA de PERSONAS adultas en Europa, centrándose en el caso del pueblo gitano.
Los materiales que han sido resultado del proyecto incluyen bibliografía clave y voces representativas del pueblo gitano en cada uno de los países participantes en el proyecto, así como un manual de educación de personas adultas y la guía para el profesorado, en los que se relata la historia y funcionamiento de la Unión Europea , reconociendo al pueblo rom como parte integrante y activa en la construcción de Europa y de la historia común y específica de cada uno de sus pueblos.
Esperamos que este gran reconocimiento permita avanzar hacia la inclusión del pueblo gitano en los curriculums académicos y, de esta manera, conseguir promover el éxito educativo de la población gitana, al mismo tiempo que romper estereotipos y fomentar las relaciones interculturales.

El projecte EDUCAROM rep el primer premi Or 2009 Creativitat i Innovació en Grundtvig del Lifelong Learning Programme Avui, 7 de maig de 2009, el projecte EDUCAROM, coordinat per l'Associació Gitana de Dones Drom Kotar Mestipen , ha estat reconegut com el millor projecte Grundtvig de l'any en la millora de l'educació de persones adultes en un sentit ampli, incloent-hi l'educació formal, no formal i informal. Avui dia 7 de maig de 2009, a Praga, L'Associació Gitana de Dones Drom Kotar Mestipen ha rebut de la mà de Ján Figel' (Membre de la Comissió Europea responsable d'Educació, Formació, Cultura i Joventut) i Ondrel Liska, Ministre d'Educació, Joventut i Esport de la República Txeca) el primer premi Or 2009 Creativitat i Innovació en Grundtvig. Figel ha elogiat i felicitat el treball realitzat per Drom Kotar Mestipen, com un model a seguir a Europa, sobretot en la inclusió de veus de dones gitanes que tradicionalment han estat excloses ( http://www.llp-conference.eu/ index ). Durant la conferència portada a terme aquest matí, es van presentar projectes de 6 categories diferents (Comenius, Erasmus, Grundtvig, Leonardo da Vinci, Languages and Information and Communication Technologies) i en cadascuna s'han atorgat 3 premis. EDUCAROM ha estat l'únic projecte espanyol al qual l'han atorgat el reconeixement del primer premi. Al projecte premiat EDUCAROM, també van col·laborar entitats de Eslovàquia, França i Romania. El projecte EDUCAROM va néixer per proporcionar ajut i resposta a les necessitats educatives i socials del poble gitano en diferents països d'Europa i diferents situacions socials. El seu principal objectiu es promoure una educació de PERSONES adultes inclusiva a Europa, centrant-se en el cas del poble gitano. Aquests materials inclouen bibliografia clau i veus representatives del poble gitano en cadascun dels països participants al projecte, així com un manual d'educació de persones adultes i la guia per al professorat, en els que es relata la història i funcionament de la Unió Europea, reconeixent al poble rom com a part integrant i activa en la construcció d'Europa i de la historia comú i específica de cadascun dels seus pobles. Esperem que aquest gran reconeixement permeti avançar cap a la inclusió del poble gitano als currículums acadèmics i, d'aquesta manera, aconseguir promoure l'èxit educatiu de la població gitana, al mateix temps que trenquem estereotips i fomentem les relacions interculturals. The EDUCAROM Project has won first prize Grundtvig Gold Award 2009 Creativity and Innovation of the Lifelong Learning Programme Today, 7th May, 2009, the EDUCAROM project, coordinated by the Roma Association of Roma Women Drom Kotar Mestipen , has been acknowledged as the best Grundtvig project of the year for the improvement in adult education in a broad way, including formal, non formal and informal education. The EDUCAROM Project was born with the aim of offering some help and answers to the educational and social needs. It first objective is to promote and inclusive education for adult PEOPLE in Europe, focusing on the case of the Roma people. This materials include key bibliography and representative voices of the Roma people in each of the countries taking kart in the Project, as well as an adult people education manual and the teachers' guide, where it is related the history and functioning of the European Union, recognizing the Rom people as integral and active part in the construction of Europe and the common and specific history of each of its people. We hope that this great acknowledgement will allow to make progress towards the inclusion of the Roma people in the academic curriculum, and so, achieve the educational success promotion of the Roma people, at the same time that we broke stereotypes and encourage intercultural relations.
